Rooted in Recovery. Inspired by Motion

Hello!
I’m Kelsey Demmings-Winters, a Registered Massage Therapist with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Acadia University. I have over 3 years of hands-on experience and love to solve problems and help people get back to feeling great. My professional focus is on therapeutic and sports massage, blending evidence-based techniques with a deep understanding of movement and recovery.
At Strides Forward Massage, I’ve created a welcoming home-based practice where clients receive focused, personalized care in a calm and comfortable environment. Whether you’re a runner, an active professional, or simply someone looking to ease tension and move with more freedom, each session is tailored to meet your individual needs.
Outside of my practice, you’ll often find me running trails, snuggling with my 3 cats, or enjoying time in the mountains. I love talking about movies, places to explore and getting to know people.
FAQ
Do you do direct billing?
I do not offer direct billing. After your appointment, you will receive a receipt via email that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement if your plan includes massage therapy coverage.
How do I pay for my appointment?
Payment can be made in several ways for your convenience:
• Card on file through online booking
• Debit or credit card through the in-clinic POS machine
• E-transfer after your appointment
What if I arrive early?
I am typically ready for you about 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. If you arrive earlier than that, you’re welcome to text to see if I’m able to bring you in sooner. Otherwise, you can wait in your car or enjoy a short walk around the neighborhood until your appointment time.
Do you only treat runners?
Not at all! While Strides Forward Massage was inspired by a love of running and supporting active people, I treat clients from all walks of life. I have a special interest in working with runners and active individuals and have above-average knowledge of running-related injury rehabilitation and prevention.
My treatments are always tailored to the individual. They may include a variety of techniques such as therapeutic massage, cupping, fascial work, lymphatic drainage, digestive massage, and intra-oral treatment when appropriate.

Cancellation Policy
There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. All cancellations and rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment time; otherwise, they will be subject to a cancellation fee. For your first late cancellation, you will be subjected to 50% charge of the service. You will be charged in full for the service you reserved in all other scenarios with no exceptions. Please make the appropriate changes to your appointment when needed on your Jane account.
I appreciate your understanding when having to enforce this policy.
